The Blockstream app allows you to conveniently purchase bitcoin directly to self-custody, supported in both mobile and Jade wallets. A wide range of exchanges are supported to help users find the best price or a platform they are already registered with.

Log in to the Blockstream app and tap **Buy Now**.

Enter the amount of bitcoin you would like to purchase or tap one of the quick selection values. The default exchange displayed will be the best price currently available, however you can tap the **Exchange** field to change platforms to one that you may already be registered with. Once you are ready to continue, tap **Buy Bitcoin**.

The app will direct you to the third-party exchange to complete your purchase. After filling out the necessary fields and submitting payment, your bitcoin will be sent directly to your wallet.
